ML Cloud Technologies, operating FireBudget ("we", "our", or "us"), is committed to handling personal data carefully and with restraint. FireBudget is sold as desktop budgeting software designed to keep your actual budget data on your machine, so this policy distinguishes between data used on the website, data involved in checkout and licensing, and the budget data you keep inside the app.

Information We Collect

Website, Purchase, and Support Information

When you visit the website, buy FireBudget, or contact support, we may receive:

• Your name and email address
• Order, payment, refund, and license-related information from our checkout or licensing providers
• Messages, attachments, and diagnostic files you choose to send us for support

Website Technical Data

The website may collect limited technical information such as:

• IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
• Visited pages, referring sources, and general site usage information

Desktop App Data

Your budget data, including accounts, categories, budgets, transactions, imports, exports, and backups, is stored on your machine by default. We do not receive that local budget data from the app by default today.

Activation and Update Data

When you activate FireBudget, check for updates, or request license support, we or our providers may process:

• License status, order reference, and activation metadata
• App version and platform information
• Basic anti-fraud or abuse prevention data

How We Use Information

• Fulfillment: To deliver purchases, licenses, downloads, and update access
• Support: To answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and respond to refund or licensing issues

We do not sell your budget data or use it for advertising.

Local Budget Data and Diagnostics

FireBudget is designed so your actual budget data stays local by default. The desktop app does not send your budget contents or background diagnostics to us by default today.

If we add optional diagnostics, crash reporting, sync, or other cloud-connected features in the future, we will update this policy and the relevant product copy to explain what changed. Where those features are optional, they would be enabled only if you choose to turn them on or use them.

Cookies and Tracking

The website may use cookies, analytics tags, or similar tools for site functionality, traffic measurement, checkout attribution, and abuse prevention. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some website functions may be affected.

The desktop app itself is not a browser service and does not depend on website cookies for local budgeting.

Because your budget data is stored locally by default, many data control actions are performed directly by you inside the app through delete, export, and backup features.

ML Cloud Technologies operates FireBudget from Malaysia. Depending on the provider involved, your purchase, support, or website data may be processed in Malaysia or other countries where our service providers operate.
